My God has Power!

Do you have a sea ahead of you? You’re standing on the edge of a massive body of water wondering how you’re going to get to the other side. I’ve been there too. In fact, I’ve had a lot seas to cross in my own life. Today, I want to encourage you that My God has power to do some pretty amazing things!

Parting of the Red Sea

This morning I was reminded my God parted the Red Sea and made a path of dry ground for His people to walk across. My God held the wall of water on their left and on their right all night long. My God brought light to their path. My God protected their backs from their enemy all night long. During the last watch of the night, my God made the wheels of their enemies’ chariots fall off. My God brought confusion to this evil army pursuing them. My God made the enemy’s journey difficult. My God showed both the enemy and His people, the Israelites, He was fighting for His beloved ones. My God crushed the enemy by releasing the walls of water of the Red Sea onto them. My God brought His people safely to the other side of the Red Sea.

My God has great power!

My God fights with great power for His loved ones.

My God still parts the waters in our lives so that we can walk across on dry ground.

No matter what sea is ahead of you, remember, God Himself has power to part the sea for you. He will go before you. He will cover your back. My God will fight for you.

But remember, you have to trust Him. You have to obey Him. You have to love Him. You have to walk. When you do, and you step into your sea, I know my God will part the water for you. He Himself will hold the wall of water until you are safely across.

Prayer for Moving Ahead

Come move in me today, Lord, like you moved the waters of the Red Sea. Part the sea that’s in my way so that I can walk safely across on dry ground. May the power of your fight move in me so that I can move ahead for You.
