Jesus is our Promise Keeper. We can count on Him to fulfill His promises to us.
No matter what, Jesus ALWAYS keeps His promises to us. He can’t NOT keep them. In fact He actually says He will not ever break His Word. He will not change what He has spoken. His Word stands forever.
Jesus is perfectly faithful.
This means we can trust Him to do what He says He will do.
Even if we do not see the results yet, that doesn’t mean Jesus is not keeping His promise to us. We may not see evidence of His promise keeping…yet!
Sure, I get it. Sometimes it feels like we’ve waited a long time for a promise to come to past. If we’re not careful, we begin to doubt. I’m guilty of this myself. I’ve spent time in that ditch too many times. I personally don’t want to keep going down into that ditch. It’s not a fun place to be.
I know at this very moment Jesus is working on our behalf. I know He will complete the good work He has begun in our lives. He will complete His promise to us.
Whatever you may be waiting on Jesus for, I want to assure you, He sees you. He knows you’re waiting. He also knows the best and most perfect timing to fulfill His promise to you.
So, this Advent season, let’s remember Jesus is our Promise Keeper. He will not disappoint us. He will fulfill His Word to us. We can count on Him.
