Exciting Announcement Ahead

I’ve been in training to be both a writer and a speaker for years. The training I’ve been going through has been long and difficult at times, but I knew God was preparing me for this purpose. Sometimes we have to wait years for our dreams and goals to come to fruition because we have to be trained up first. Well, the time has come for me to take a step forward into God’s calling. I have some exciting news to share with you.

Last September, I submitted a formal proposal for a workshop for the 2018 Set Apart Conference. Drumroll…My workshop was approved!

I’m humbled and excited that God has opened up this opportunity for me to step into public speaking.

My Workshop Title

“No Longer a Slave to Fear: Standing Firm in Marriage”

After being married over 30 years, I have a message to share about overcoming fear through the trials of marriage.

While marriage is a blessing, God also tells us in 1 Corinthians 7:28 that those of us who marry will have trouble. I can attest this is true.

These troubles usually produce fear. Lots of fear! I’m ready to share how I overcame fear. I’m ready to encourage women who may find themselves in the midst of marital trouble and fear to become full of faith so they can stand firm in marriage.

This conference is going to be fantastic! As you can see, the theme of this year’s conference is “Fear Not!” And how cool that Liz Curtis Higgs and Lysa TerKeurst are the keynote speakers this year. I’m so excited to listen to them in person. I’m honored to be a part of this year’s conference.

Fear is real, and the testimonies of God’s faithfulness and help with overcoming fear need to be heard.
