We can live fascinating and abundant lives. But how? Every morning we have a choice. We can choose how we’re going to live that day. It starts with our first action and thought, and continues with every action and thought that follows throughout the day. What are you choosing to think about each morning as you rise? What actions are you choosing each morning? Our thoughts and actions matter, friends. They matter all day long.
True Story Ahead
I love inspiration. I just attended the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) for the third time. This is right up my alley. Or as my husband would say, “It’s your wheelhouse.”
I find myself drawn to others who inspire. It revs up my own engine of inspiration. Truthfully, I surround myself with things that inspire me. Every time I sit at my writing desk, I’m surrounded by inspiration.
The quote above is from a box of inspirational quotes my daughter Rachel gave me for my birthday. I was changing them daily until this quote showed up. I’ve not changed it in weeks. It’s like God Himself is inspiring me to keep dedicating my life to a BIG cause, His cause for me to live.
Last week at the GLS, many speakers did the same: they inspired me to live my life for my big cause.
T. D. Jakes said we need to think beyond our means so it scares us, so it energizes us, so it electrifies us.
That, my friends, is living a glorious romance and adventurous life.
I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance ~ Jesus (John 10:10b )
Jesus came so that we can have life, abundant life. He didn’t come for us to live so-so, shrug shoulders kind-of-lives. He wants us to live with profusion.
I believe we can live an abundantly glorious and beautiful, adventurous life if we’re both pursuing our God-given purpose and dedicating our lives to that purpose for the glory of Jesus and the blessing of others.
Many others believes this too.
We live fascinating lives if we are living in the center of God’s will. ~ Hannah Whitall Smith from August 14 Streams in the Desert.
If you’re not living a glorious romance and adventurous life, why not? What are you personally doing to contribute to an abundant life or lack of abundant life?
What are you choosing to dedicate your time and effort to? What and who are you surrounding yourself with?
We have the opportunity to live an amazing life, right here, right now. Jesus told us He came to bring us life and to have it in abundance.
So, are we going to?
I’d love to hear from you. What are your causes? Have you discovered your life’s big purpose? What are you doing right now today to pursue your cause? How are you dedicating your life to this cause?
