We Only Have Today

We only have today. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow hasn’t come. We only have today. 

What are you going to do with today? Make today count. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. What is burning in your soul? Do it today.

How does Jesus want you to serve Him? What has He assigned to you to do? Have you done it? You only have today. Now is the time. Today!

God’s Word is filled with over two hundred references to today. Search today. See for yourself. What does God tell us about today?

Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Hebrews 3:13

Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.

What are you waiting to do? Friends, tomorrow is not coming. We only have today. We only can fulfill our calling today. What can you do today?

Today, I’m creating.
Today, I’m happy.
Today, I’m sharing with you what the Lord has shown me that’s important.

Today is important. Today is urgent. Take this day, Seize it. Serve Jesus. 

Be kind to one person. Be patient when you want to hurry someone along. Be obedient in one thing you know you haven’t been. Lift your hands and voice to Jesus. Seek Him today.

Today, you have a purpose. Today is important. What are you going to do with this day?

Right now, Ask Jesus. Seek Jesus. Knock on Jesus’ door. He’s waiting. Then receive from the Jesus.

Take this amazing opportunity called today and seize it.

Take one step closer to Jesus. Take one step in what He’s opened for you. What door has He opened for you that He wants you to walk through? Today, walk through the open door.

If you’re feeling down, lost, or discouraged, today, ask Jesus to revive your soul.

Friends, we only have today.  Go after it.

Serve Jesus with your talents. Decide to use the talents and gifts Jesus gave you for Him. If you’ve buried them, dig them up. Be brave today and use your talents.
